Sarah Palin and family leave for International Space Station and then Mars.

Only three years after running for the second highest office in the country, Sarah Palin will be departing for the International Space Station early tomorrow morning. She will be accompanied by her husband Todd, her parents, all of her children, and surprisingly Levi Johnston. Their final destination will be Earth's neighboring red planet Mars where they are planning on being the first humans to inhabit it.

But if you're a Palin fan, there's no reason to be depressed as she will be actively involved in numerous social media including Facebook, Skype, and of course Twitter. Speaking on the Fox News Hannity show, she told her fans that she "won". "I told all my followers that I would be President someday, and now it's become a reality...it will just be on Mars is all."

When asked by Hannity why in the world she would have invited Levi on such a long and monumental journey, she winked and gave Sean a nudge, "we need to test that escape hatch sometime up there don't we?"

No word yet on when the Palin family is set for a return visit. Estimates range from between 20,000-30,000 years so it looks as though the "lamestream media" will have to find ratings revenue elsewhere for awhile.
